Ce nouvel accrochage de groupe rassemble les oeuvres de vingt-et-un artistes historiques et de jeunes artistes émergeants. Cette exposition collective est pensée comme une immersion totale dans l’art contemporain et son histoire, à travers le chef de file de la Figuration Libre, Robert Combas, des artistes expressionnistes comme Jordy Kerwick ou Dzvinya Podlyashetska, la Nouvelle Figuration avec Jacques Monory, Peter Klasen, Pat Andrea ou encore Erró et ses représentations de Surfeur d’argent, super-héros que l’on retrouve en papier d’affiches également chez Pavlos. Valentin van der Meulen et ses peintures cinématographiques s’inscrit dans cette lignée.
Dans la veine Pop, citons les jeunes artistes Allison Zuckerman, Takeru Amano et Vivi Cho, mais aussi les fondateurs Antony Donaldson, Robert Indiana, Mel Ramos ou Alain Jacquet. Dans les inclassables mais non des moindres, Michel Tyszblat, Kaws ou encore Damien Hirst. Enfin, deux sculpteurs aux techniques bien différentes mais aux univers très colorés, le français Vincent Beaurin et l’américaine Austyn Taylor. Par cette mixité, chaque oeuvre aspire à refléter les recherches plastiques de chaque artiste à une certaine époque, tel un miroir de notre société contemporaine. L’univers, créer par l’association de ces oeuvres et artistes, est étendu sur les deux espaces de Strouk Gallery, au 2, Avenue Matignon (8ème arrondissement) et au 5, rue du Mail (2ème arrondissement) du 15 novembre 2022 au 28 janvier 2023.

This new group exhibition brings together the works of twenty-one historical artists and young emerging artists.
This collective exhibition is thought of as a total immersion in contemporary art and its history, through the leader of Free Figuration, Robert Combas, expressionist artists like Jordy Kerwick or Dzvinya Podlyashetska, The New Figuration with Jacques Monory, Peter Klasen, Pat Andrea and Erró and his performances of Silver Surfer, superhero that can also be found in poster paper at Pavlos. Valentin van der Meulen and his cinematographic paintings are in this line. In the Pop vein, we can mention the young artists Allison Zuckerman, Takeru Amano and Vivi Cho, but also the founders Antony Donaldson, Robert Indiana, Mel Ramos and Alain Jacquet. In the unclassifiable but not least, Michel Tyszblat, Kaws or Damien Hirst. Finally, two sculptors with very different techniques but very colorful universes, the French Vincent Beaurin and the American Austyn Taylor. Through this mix, each work aspires to reflect the plastic research of each artist at a certain time, like a mirror of our contemporary society.
