Henri-François Debailleux : Vos œuvres récentes semblent plus denses et plus colorées qu’auparavant. Pourquoi ?
Erró : Je pense que c’est lié à l’âge. J’ai aujourd’hui 90 ans et j’ai sans doute besoin de plus de gaieté autour de moi, de plus de richesse et de joie dans mes tableaux.
Henri-François Debailleux : Comment travaillez-vous avec vos images ?
Erró : Je les découpe et je les classe par thèmes dans des tiroirs : ciels, montagnes, dictateurs, fleurs… Quelquefois, j’ai besoin d’un ciel pluvieux, alors je vais dans le tiroir des ciels et je trouve l’image qu’il me faut.
Henri-François Debailleux : Vous lisez les bandes dessinées dont proviennent vos images ?
Erró : Non, ce sont seulement les images qui m’intéressent. Je lis les images.

Henri-François Debailleux: Your recent works seem denser and more colorful than before. Why is that?
Erró: I think it has to do with age. I am 90 years old today and I probably need more cheerfulness around me, more richness and joy in my paintings.
Henri-François Debailleux: How do you work with your images?
Erró: I cut them out and classify them by theme in drawers: skies, mountains, dictators, flowers… Sometimes I need a rainy sky, so I go to the drawer of skies and find the image I need.
Henri-François Debailleux: Do you read the comic books your images come from?
Erró: No, only the images interest me. I read images.
